Thanks Fred, for your note of caution. Once again I am reminded that our words do not always mean the same thing to each of us. Having re-read my last post, it does seem a tad sarcastic in places but I was just trying to emphasise my point. I simply cannot get away from the idea that representatives should represent us. I do not see it as reasonable that, in the UK, about 670 people, should decide the fate of the rest of the 60 million population, without regard for the wishes of that population. It may be the way it has always been but I do not give them that right.
I have to stand by my arguments in my previous post. PVR, you do of course, have the right to disagree with me.
