Fred has suggested that we open up our constitutional exercise to wider input and it is something I agree with.

We're discussing at what stage we should start this. My immediate thoughts are that we should have something down which people could critisize and revise rather than start with a blank sheet where everybody argues over the first paragraph and nothing gets done.

It happens that what we have so far could be described as a 'representative direct democracy'.

I believe we can start inviting input in about a week or so.
