Regarding the comments that "it should be our priority to unite all existing initiatives."

I suspect "unite" is a bit ambitious. Each initiative has an agenda. Attempting to unite them may be unrealistic. Cross-pollenization might be a better option.

For example, in addition to hosting the discussion of issues, it might be well to encourage their formulation and discussion on other sites by providing links. A link to a MyVerdict discussion (and, possibly, vote) coupled with a link from MyVerdict to a WDDM discussion would enhance both sites. I am not technically proficient, so I can't be sure it's possible, but it should be worth investigating.
