Hello everyone, hope your all well.
Having read and digested Fred's articles(now available at myverdict.net along with Mike Gravel's video), I find them to be outstanding. I believe his 'Troika' method of selecting candidates would be easy and cheap to put into practise. That is, if it were done 'officially'. It needs the participation of the whole of the electorate of a particular administrative division. Disinterested parties are weeded out in the early stages with the remaining participants more involved as the process progresses. Without full participation initially, only interested parties are involved, those who seek power. The very people we would wish to eliminate.
An 'unofficial' site will only be an example of the process at work and, being unofficial, might struggle to get members. I think the various DD sites about can testify to that, regardless of their serious intent.
Having said all that, if such a site were to be built, I would certainly support the effort.
