We must first get our WDDM organization with basic mission statement, purpose and plan how to accomplish that.
The present situation, going in a million directions at once leads to total confusion and defeat.

As to using a different form of discussion such as Nico's. There are others, George showed another I prefer the eparlement format if we decide to go that direction. It is to soon to venture in that direction, and it may be unnecessary. Using Forum keeps discussion to a minimum while allowing all matters to be presented. With all matters in one place (forum) it is easy to comment, make your choice and when asked vote on your choice. What we need is active people and as we define ourself we will grow. New people will have new ideas which may be incorporated using I&R.

Lack of participants will be the problem with what some now call DDD or True democracy, not a quorum of active people. If the people do not participate it will be run by the ruling faction, which may be a corporation. Basic I&R allows control of government and the people can take more control as the people agree to participate in the process. For instance, with I&R the people could demand a referendum on all budgets, tax structure etc. With I&R the people define the amount of control they need to maintain good government.

We need to discuss these matters fully before making rash decisions.

I apologize for my remark. I was responding to an attack by this individual. I also resented that no respect was made to WDDM by eliminating the I&R process. I should have confronted the matter directly, that the individual was not following our democratic process.
