People are lazy and prefer to abdicate personal responsibility to a leader whether it be God or Government.

I'll take twenty minutes out of my busy life to go vote for you. You take care of everything while I get back on the couch and masturbate and participate in American Idol worship for $0.99 cents a minute then later I'll buy a bucket of chicken for $3.99 and watch a summary on how our bombers are killing nasty foreign women and children that want to see us dead so they can steal our tell lie visions, burn our gas and eat our food

To be GOVERNED is to be watched, inspected, spied upon, directed, law-driven, numbered, regulated, enrolled, indoctrinated, preached at, controlled, checked, estimated, valued, censured, commanded, by creatures who have neither the right nor the wisdom nor the virtue to do so. To be GOVERNED is to be at every operation, at every transaction noted, registered, counted, taxed, stamped, measured, numbered, assessed, licensed, authorized, admonished, prevented, forbidden, reformed, corrected, punished. It is, under pretext of public utility, and in the name of the general interest, to be place[d] under contribution, drilled, fleeced, exploited, monopolized, extorted from, squeezed, hoaxed, robbed; then, at the slightest resistance, the first word of complaint, to be repressed, fined, vilified, harassed, hunted down, abused, clubbed, disarmed, bound, choked, imprisoned, judged, condemned, shot, deported, sacrificed, sold, betrayed; and to crown all, mocked, ridiculed, derided, outraged, dishonored. That is government; that is its justice; that is its morality.” (P.-J. Proudhon, General Idea of the Revolution in the Nineteenth Century, translated by John Beverly Robinson (London: Freedom Press, 1923), pp. 293-294.)

What happened to the commonwealth and cooperatives? A highly organized and efficient society where compassion and caring are more important than glory and wealth is going to take a huge paradigm shift. Most of the globe has been indoctrinated into the later with no regard for the former. We know the education system isn't there to enlighten people. It is there to make obedient wage debt slaves. Is it so hard to believe the tell lie vision is there to do any different? There is no news, just fear mongering. There is no education, just indoctrination into the elites imminent domain authoritarian society. The same crap about the cream rising to the top and benevolent god men that have nothing but the interests of the common people at heart.

Progressive ideas are not allowed into the public consciousness. Look at history and what happens to progressives. From the Gracchi through Julius Caesar, the dark ages, the inquisition, JFK, MX, MLK, RFK and millions of other dead on the road to global empire. Now that it's just around the corner the propaganda has increased and dissent is met directly with death if it becomes at all popular.

Sure we have had some advancements such as the end of abject slavery, the act of selling yourself into slavery over debts, the eight hour work day, habeas corpus, some basic human rights and personal liberties. All of which are under attack at all times. Habeas corpus is gone, debt slavery is rampant, long work days for little pay and no overtime are common as well all the hard fought rights are disappearing daily, phone taps and reading emails.

This is what we can continue to expect from any government whether global or regional. On a global scale we would be easily manipulated into a nationalist fervor over some staged Alien'Qaeda threat.

Pierre-Joseph Proudhon, probably the first person to call himself an Anarchist - In the Principle of Federation (1863) he argued that nationalism inevitably leads to war. To reduce the power of nationalism Proudhon called for a Federal Europe. Proudhon believed that Federalism was "the supreme guarantee of all liberty and of all law, and must, without soldiers or priests, replace both feudal and Christian society." Proudhon went on to predict that "the twentieth century will open the era of federations, or humanity will begin again a purgatory of a thousand years." Look at all the wars since then both open and proxy that continue to this day in many countries simultaneously. I can think of half a dozen countries currently under the yoke of the secret service agitators and dictatorial manipulation of our wealthy corporate self appointed god men.

Of course that's just my opinion and I could be wrong. If so please enlighten me and raise me to a higher level of understanding.

Need a glossary. EU meaning of Government differs from US English. Here, government includes Executive, Legislative, Judicial and infrastructure - agency's.
DD should run it ALL. Executive or administrator should also fall under the peoples authority. Else, the exec could dictate to all. Keeping the dictator is loony.

A good start would be to stop confusing Government or Executive

DD is about people's Legislature.
Only in most exclusive loony bins there may be question of Executive
run directly by people.
