Hamid,
discussions about racism and extremism do not belong to this channel. For
such subjects another forum should be chosen. Please respect what Mirek has
written, otherwise you should not be on this list.
Sincerely, Jiri Polak

Racism and any other extrimism should be answered by facts and logic and
not by censure, otherwise we would
treat freedom of speech.

Hamid

Where are the examples of these - false accusations, name calling and
character assignation.

Have you really not seen them recently in this list ???????

On the free speech: Is everybody really comfortable with absolutely
unlimited free speech? An extreme example: if somebody persistently
harassed you, called you a naturally born killer, and incited others
against you in such a way that you were afraid for your life, would you
still happily advocate unrestricted free speech for that person?

For me the bottom line is that I will not participate in providing
platform for any extremists who preach or show prejudice, or even the
slightest trace of hatred against any ethnic or national group. If I was
required to do something like that in a paid job, I would resign. So
there is no way, I will do that in a volunteer activity like this.

It seems that I can't resign from here for now, so I put in place rules
for this mailing list that forbid any hints of racism in this list. That
is the only "limitation" of free speech that I require as a condition to
continue the provision of this free service - maintenance of this list
and website. These rules were actually inspired by similar rules of the
Czech Movement for Direct Democracy (HzPD)
<http://www.pdemokracie.ecn.cz/>
(almost literal translation in some places). Our version is posted at
http://www.world-wide-democracy.net/maillistrules.php, and you have also
got them in the previous e-mail. All new members will get them
automatically after signing on. Do they need some more editing?

It was a big omission that we had not something like that in place long
time ago. If we want to be a world-wide movement, we have to treat
everybody equally and not allow any accusations of inferiority against
any group. No exceptions.

So after all this is now in place, I am removing the moderation. Thanks
for your patience.

Mirek

We have many things inserted into our minds which we believe be absolute
facts.
For example we are told war is about, so we can free,to have liberty,
but it really about murder, destruction, rape, and asserting power, and
making some very rich.
Bruce when you had the debate about the Anarchist , which lead to some
leaving, should that have been moderated.

I work for a company, the world largest mining company, that treats the
workers like children, which make the workforce very frustrated, they
have a rule for everything.
Semler calls it the military style of management, so they feel in
control.
