Please view this report which does very well to establish what works and areas which can ruin Direct Democracy.
It should be noted that without BINDING REFERENDUM little is accomplished and the rulers ----- rule.

It is also very simple. The Initiative, (petition) is submitted and if a estaablished number of people agree, the petition is than sent to a Binding Referendum where all people can vote ya or na.
This process eliminates vague or poorly written petitions, petitions which have little value to the community.
If approved the Petition is immediately implemented.
