Future of Democracy
During the Warsaw Summit in May 2005, the heads of European governments
of member states have decided to create the Forum for the Future of
Democracy, in order to reinforce the political freedoms and the
participation of citizens. And so 400 participants took part in the 3rd
Forum organized in Sweden June 13-15, 2007 with the theme ''Power and
empowerment – the interdependence of democracy and human rights''
