For some strange reason some people are still unded
the impression that the French voted NON to the
Constitution.

The French just jumped on an opportunity to vote and
voted NON to Chirac and his disastrous gang, without
bothering about EU Constitution which anyway nobody
understood.

If Chirac pleaded for NON, the French would have voted
OUI.

Internal matter of getting rid of detested uncrowned
king, using any pretext at hand.

Wrong, the French and Dutch voted against corporate bureaucrats
masquerading as EU ministers ramming legislation via the constitution,
which would allow genetically mutated food crops to be planted and
marketed in the EU without any labeling requirements, and that ain't
all! These bureaucrats intended to undo all the product liability
legislation via the constitution as well as any social service
legislation which went to the general public instead of the general
revenue of some corporation! So, get a grip on yourself, the majority of
the french population aren't as obtuse as you would have us believe. Or
are you worried that the meek might be getting ready?
