Conference on the European Citizens' Initiative on 29 June 2011 in the European Parliament

The European Citizens' Initiative is the first transnational instrument for citizens' participation worldwide. Citizen can make use of it from April 2012 on. The conference will provide information, training, and network opportunities for those who intend to launch an initiative.

Interpretation in all official EU languages will be provided.

Democracy International Conference on 30 June 2011 in Brussels

The conference will identify and shape future projects of Democracy International. The aim of Democracy International is to bring together people who want to be actively involved in developing and expanding civic engagement and direct democratic participation at the local, national, and global level.

The conference will take place in English.
