Subject: Re: [WDDM] Swiss model

Sorry, Bruce,  I attended the second  DD Congress in Athens + Delphi, Greece, on 2000, but I don't remember of any discussion on the Swiss model there. Also, I don't remember of hawing met with any Bruce Eggum there.

Please notice, I have nothing to disagree with the Swiss model, provided only that this model is a bottom-up outcome from the inhabitant people there, not just a top-down decision of any WDDM sovereign assembly to be exported  worldwide, as some people seem to see it as.

What I have to disagree with, it is anyone's claim to present one's own goal as if it were the initial WDDM goal, and anyone's claim to present oneself as the spokesperson of the WDDM Movement (notice: not just of the WDDM m-list and web-site, both of  which I thank Mirek Kolar very, very much for.)

regards,
antonio

Dear Antonio,

What is it about the Swiss model you disagree with?
When the group returned from second Congress in Delphi, Greece the WDDM discussion was continually on the Swiss model.
You Antonio began a Italian Assembly to accomplish this yourself in Italy.

Of course it is just an example, because this method provides that each group should hold "Assembly" [meeting of all people] and than anyone could introduce any "Initiative" which is any topic, idea, statue change, anything for the people to consider. If the people decide the Initiative has merit, they can introduce it to Referendum where it can be accepted or rejected.

Sincerely, Bruce

Sorry, Bruce.

this was, and still is, YOUR  initial goal - quite sectarian IMHO -
not  the initial goal of  WDDM.
Please, speak for yourself,

Yes this was the initial WDDM goal to oversee representative government with sovereignty <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sovereignty> lodged in the assembly of all citizens <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Citizenship> who choose to participate.

This is really quite simple and appropriate goal. Once begun, the people have the tools to develop however they choose to run their country.   Bruce
