QUOTE
SINCERITY.
It is the critical condition: members must be
capable to conceive and accept local, i.e.
personal sacrifices involved by the global
improvement. This short phrase implies a
fundamental change of mentality, replacement of
present egoism with something similar to the
attitude of Israeli Kibbutzim.

Here we go again. Global improvement? Yes, Kibbutzim are exactly there
for, if Global means Israel. If global means Palestinians, then we're
already fighting WWIII, says he.
I've copied an old message of Georges where he claims:

"Whatever services gotten, Kibbuzim contribute
more than they get. Israeli fighter pilots and special
units undergo the by far toughest selection in the
world, aiming not at heroes or iron discipline, but
at complete, sincere human beings."
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/epistemology/message/2499

and he specifies that:
" By "complete, sincere human being" I understand
somebody whose all essential faculties have been
optimally developed and who uses them in a sincere
optimally equilibrated way."
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/epistemology/message/2523

Thanks to Georges' first hand testimony we now know that:
1-people living in Kibbutzim are complete, sincere human beings
3-all their "essential faculties" (?!?) have been optimally developped
2-they have little ego (if any) and therefore move just for global
improvement

This is an excellent starting point, no?
What sort of results do these "complete, sincere human beings" at times
produce?
Death and distruction.
Some maths: kibbutzim (says Georges) train 90% of jetfighter pilots.
Those pilots are to be held responsible for the distructions and deaths
of the Lebanon war.
Over 33 days, Israeli jets killed up to 1,200 Lebanese civilians and
bombed houses, hospitals, ambulances, refineries, and roads.

I think that, thanks to people in good faith like Georges, kibbutzim are
a good investment for Israel and zionism. That's why they are constantly
supported by the Israeli government. I don't deny that people in
kibbutzim may be happy. I reject the idea that those "complete, sincere
human beings" are committed to global improvement though. Wars are NEVER
a global improvement, just a global impoverishment in terms of pain,
sorrows, wealth and wellbeing. But yes, this global impoverishment
begets huge local wealth (bankers, military industries etc...).

DD starts by readiness of sacrifices, by applying
group's decisions in one's life, even if one disagrees
with them and had voted against.

Great point. Now we could decide, as DD oriented group, if kibbutzim
generate only "complete, sincere human beings" "whose all essential
faculties have been optimally developed" and are committed to "global
improvement" or they are as happy as they believe they are yet incapable
of realizing what bombing houses, hospitals, ambulances, refineries, and
roads and killing civilians means just like any other ordinary military
who receives orders and accept them.

We could vote to understand how many agree with Georges's opinions and
how many disagree. If Georges loses he must adopt the group's decisions
even if he "disagrees with them and had voted against" in order to apply
his own definitions of DD which "starts by readiness of sacrifices".
Shall we test our DD capabilities?

Regards

Giorgio
