Not our problem. Ours is to get there. Then the Forum
will conceive, chose and decide.

The following article indicates some of the new
tools we have to work with
which could help us develop a working and
sustainable culture.

Bruce is better when he thinks, than when he quotes.
"The following article" is a typical example of
uncountable ones prattling superficially through the
hat about what they ignore.

EXPECT EXPONENTIAL PROGRESS

I suggest we consider these new tools and take
advantage of them.
====================
G:
Which new tools? There is none pertinent to DD and
we don't even know how to design its specs. These
specs could be our rational task, rather than quote
bullshit about "unlocking a solution to global
warming and solving myriad other worldly conundrums."

I have designed and used a perfect computing DD
platform tested in practice for groups up to 1000.
It could not be extended for millions, because that
raised problems whose solutions I could not even
specify, let alone design and implement. I asked
several times for WDDM collaboration, as it has some
brilliant informaticians. But one declined the
intelligent and constructive effort, preferring lazy
prattle about angels sitting on DD's pinpoint.

Forums of
people all over the world bring people together in
their ideas and methods
for harmonization.
====================
G:
Which forums? Bringing together? Thanks for a good
laugh. Just enter "palestine" in Google and you will
get about 40 000 000 !!! "articles", most, if not all,
hateful, factually wrong, misinforming and separating
peoples of ME with unsurmountable gap of hatred.
Not only with Israel, but with all Arab nations who
increasingly hate Palestinians.

I had about 800 Palestinian students, which made me
know several thousand Palestinians via their families
and friends. The understanding and often the
friendship was incomparable with today's automatic
propagation of hatred.

Anyone can begin a Forum using
Ning which is free.

And anyone can piss in a violin taking himself for
Yehudi Menuhin.
I shall not insult Bruce by commenting on Ning
bullshit.
==================
Another method of communication is Kaizen.
...
(改善) is Japanese for improvement.
==================
Again, like with Palestine, I have first hand
experience. I am just back after having given
a week's training stage of my Zen Combat with
participation limited to over 4 Dan Karate,
including two 7 Dans. I'm in steady contact with
Japanese living in Europe, some of my students
live in Japan and my daughter worked as astrophysicist
and made her 2 Dan Aikido in Japan.
I don't know how much Kaizen contributed, but the
Japanese succeeded in making their society to a hell
where work resembles KZ Arbeitskommandos (except
extermination). All Japanese residing in Europe, whom
we know via our Karate clubs, would rather stay and
clean gutters than go back and work as engineers in
Kaizen Arbeitskommandos.
=====================
This is really exciting! Thanks to all for sharing
and continuing this
conversation.

G:
Sorry to spoil your enthusiasm, but I find the world
committing suicide rather sad, tragically sad, and
the "exciting" prattle in face of it, by euphemism,
incongruous.

The only thing a group like WDDM could reasonably do
would be, IMO, to investigate problems facing an
informatic platform pertinent to DD at the national
level. We have some brilliant informaticians like
Mirek, but I doubt if even he could go beyond grasping
the problems, towards a rough concept of solutions.
Maybe we could open a thread "Computing Platform
of DD", which would be the first rational thread of
WDDM, but I fear that laziness will prevail and that
we shall continue to prattle about angels on DD's
pinpoint.

Georges.
