I'm definately puzzled by the last sentence. In the past years i've had
long discussions with Georges about honesty. He claimed that such a
thing, being a "meaningless generality" is "empty noise". Now i see that
sincerity (capital S, though!) is an essential requirement for DD. I
would like to know how is this possible, given that *"demagogues love
"generalizations" i. e. meaningless statements about generalities, to
which they assign arbitrary, dogmatic meaning and which are most common
tools for manipulating people and for generating mass hysteria."

Has Georges invented a device to precisely measure sincerity maybe? Or
isn't this a way to assign arbitrary, dogmatic meaning to something that
cannot be tested?
Either one: sincerity, honesty, faithfulness etc exist or they don't but
in the mind of demagogues and simpletons.
