Hello Ted!
Thank you for interesting information! I hope you will inform me about the
coming conference in Spain, so that I will be able to include it in the
September issue. I believe development towards DD is proceeding
satisfactorily.
With my best regards Jiri

Hi Jiri:

Well thanks for the plug on my chart in TFOT......too bad no one in the
movement of delib dem pays the least bit of attention to it. I'm also
pleased to see you run the homepage of JPD.....I'm hoping for a major
update this week or next....

The new lead article in JPD's public page will be on a new movement of
secession from the US by the state of Vermont. Very interesting way to
secede....no terrorists.....no firing on American military
bases.....just a series of New England Town Meetings to create a
critical mass and force the state legislature to put it on the ballot
for a referendum. Then they become the "Republic of Vermont." Is the
US Army going to invade? Interesting, no?

I'm invited by...are you ready for this....The Basque Parliament and
Mondragon University to be the "historian" of "E-democracy" at a
conference they're giving on ... July 4th....how appropriate! I intend
to tell them about the Vermont method. It sure beats the ETA method.

By the way, I agree with that little paragraph at the end of your
newsletter about the WDDM charter. So much chatter. So little matter.

Ted.
