amend this posting, it was different than what I thought. George
Kokkas has supplied a document he applied for in Greece Sept 6 1999.
This was with the name WorldWide Direct Democracy Movement where
WorldWide is one word, which creates WDDM.

This was for registration as an Organization, not the name for the
Website which Pino bought. Obviously the Web site name which Pino
bought for WDDM was WDDM as WorldWide Direct Democracy Movement. This
information is recorded in the Yahoo email archives.

In another message 04 20 05, 'Antonio Rossin states
Antonio Rossin
to wddm

Hi WDDM members,

Please notice, the WDDM registration that George Kokkas made in
the queue of 2nd CICDD at Athens, 2000, is the Official International
Registration of a corporate organization devoted to implement DD.
George Sagi paid 100 US# for that.

The registration Bruce is speaking of is the Internet registration of
a domain name, that Pino Strano made later wanting to secure the
Internet name property. Btw, Pino secured it for his own ownership,
not for WDDM's: indeed it remains his personal property still.

Bruce Remarks; NO Antonio, Pino bought the WDDM name for WDDM and it
is in the WDDM Yahoo archives as such. He was authorized as secretary
and webmaster and by vote of members to do this. What ever would any
individual want to buy the name WDDM for? This was all official WDDM
business. Antonio's above statement is why we were working to have
explicit policy and procedures as well as a treasurer for WDDM. There
was no way to "charge" the name to WDDM as it had no accounts.
Unfortunately, Antonio said to vote for the procedures was fascist
which confused the members and many simply refused to participate.
Regards, Bruce

No George Kokkas was not authorized to buy the name wddm nor did he.

AS I noted in a past msg, Pino Strano who was Secretary to WDDM had
registered that name WDDM for the WDDM org,. which was done in 2000.
He did this by consensus of the WDDM members. Mr. Kokkas apparently
took action on his own and later said he had a WDDM name also,
obviousley he did not. This is an example of the unorganized org.
WDDM. People off doing their own thang. Than there were issues of
money floating around. Someone gave it here and than it was supposed
to be there,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, than they want it
back,,,,,,,,,,who spent it,,,,,etc.

Another post WDDM teaching: A treasurer or some responsible person
must be given the financial responsibilities etc. Mirek assured us
that was done now. Thank you Mirek. In the future, if the members
truly want input into this org, they will have to structure it in that
way.

If you go to a name site and enter WDDM you can find Pino's ownership.
Of course this was on behalf of WDDM. I searched at Go Dady. Than seek
further info.

Hi!
George Kokkas sent us the photocopy and English translation of the official
WDDM registration. It is now in the WDDM archive at:
http://www.world-wide-democracy.net/archive/original_wddm/registration/index.html

Interesting detail for detailists: the registration is not of WDDM but of
WWDDM, more exactly, the following TradeMark

WorldWide Direct Democracy Movement (WWDDM)

is registered and protected until Spet. 6, 2009.

(Thus there is really no need to change our name to WDDM(r) or something else,
because nobody can actually make any official claim to WDDM.)
